Rotherma - The uniquely special hot-springs spa
A very special kind of wellness area is being offered in Gaggenau-Bad Rotenfels: a spa with a vitality and aroma bath, an extensive sauna park with a unique boulder-landscape sauna and an ice grotto. These are supplemented by a health studio using classic physiotherapeutical techniques for purposes of prevention and rehabilitation. The vast open-air grounds within the health resort's park enable visitors to leave everday life behind them for a few hours and replenish the soul.
The Bad Rotenfels hot-springs spa offers total relaxation for body and mind. The bathing landscape alone extends across an area measuring over 5000 square metres. In addition to a large indoor swimming pool there are not only therapy pools with massage jets, but also a waterfall, a blue grotto with a veil of mist, a whirlpool, two outdoor swimming pools, underwater benches, circulating water whirlers and many other offers. The numerous spots to rest present a magnificent panoramic view of the Black Forest Mountains and the Murgtal Valley. Rising dynamically from the depths of the earth, the water at ROTHERMA is health at its purest.
The spectrum of offers available at this spa is topped off by a generously spaced sauna park containing five sauna compartments, including a boulder-landscape sauna and a classic Finnish sauna. Each sauna has a character of its own – the visitor decides for themself where wellness is at its best: perhaps "Aquaviva" might be the right choice, or maybe some beneficial time spent in the "Amethyst" sauna.
